Louise Bruce is the Clinical Lead and Hearing Aid Audiologist
“I pride myself in being able to put patients quickly at ease and then spend time really understanding their needs.”
I qualified as a Hearing Aid Audiologist over 20 years ago and I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. I have worked for two of the national hearing care providers before deciding to set up in Hale. I now feel I can spend more time with each patient, offer a more personalised approach and give more independent advice.
Earlier on in my career I was a Registered General Nurse working in intensive care, also on a surgical ward. Before that I worked as a community palliative care nurse. Growing up, I was involved in my family’s nursing home, I grew to love helping people and when I met an Audiologist, they inspired me to follow Audiology as a career path.
I am supported by two medical assistants Jo & Diane; they will be your first point of contact. We offer a range of services including.
⦁ Free Hearing Tests
⦁ Ear Wax Removal by Microsuction
⦁ Video Otoscopy, see inside your own ears
⦁ Fit the latest in Hearing aid technology
⦁ Hearing aid service and repair
⦁ Tinnitus advice
⦁ Noise Protection
